Cicada’s programs provide jobs, support and opportunity for artists, musicians & music practitioners, technicians, producers, engineers, story tellers, film makers & photographers, singers, songwriters, graphic designers, classical artists, community arts workers and more.
AWMA
In 2018, Cicada International established the inaugural Australian Women in Music Awards (AWMA) and Conference Program to recognise the value and contribution of women across all areas of the Australian music industry. AWMA 2022 is scheduled to be held 17 – 18 May in Brisbane after postponing the event in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.
BAWAKA MULWAT
A unique cultural exchange program designed to share the oldest knowledge of the most ancient culture in the world to bring unity and healing to the past, present and future through Yolngu pedagogy.
